There are other mods I wanted to try for CK2, but I'm also afraid that I'll get sucked in for another 100+ hours and lose several weeks out of my life. I was especially interested in the old Avatar (the Last Airbender) mod where you could play as any of the four nations, but it got discontinued and I can't find it anywhere. Then there's the Elder Scrolls mod! The Witcher mod! It's all very dangerous.
My only gripe with mods is that base game updates invalidate a lot of old mod saves -- I've had to reconquer Westeros about five times now.

Posting on both forums for justice: Bump: As I'm typing, Adrienne is playing Overwatch. The entire enemy team spontaneously stopped fighting, and now every single person on both teams is sitting around saying hi to each other and spamming their character emotes. The match has fallen apart. Unspoken friendship has taken over. The game is broken. There is no battle. There is only love. No one has completed any objectives, so the match is locked in indefinite overtime. update: Now they are all hopping in circles like happy rabbits. update 2: They are now all playing jump rope with Mercy's heal beam. update 3: All four D.Va's in the match are trying to stack their mechs on top of each other. update 4: 3 out 4 D.Va's have the video game emote and are using it as a group, sitting next to each other. The fourth is watching them in sorrow and jealousy. update: 20 minutes in. A few accidentally lagged out, and their new replacements are threatening the peace. update: A McCree killed everyone on the other team, match over. Friendships ruined.  Also, Adrienne recorded most of it using XB1 clip capture, so I'm gonna assemble this into a video for our website. Maybe an official LA youtube channel really is the better way to post all our highlight clips from various games. Hmm. I'll look into this. |

I had a dream last night that I was driving down the highway and then this huge tanker truck a half mile or so down the road flipped over, flew through the air somehow, landed on top of another tanker truck, and then everything exploded. And I took +5 rad/sec. XD

I.... don't actually remember! But I can be reasonably certain I was wearing something, because otherwise it would've become one of those awkward naked-in-public dreams.

I haven't had a lucid dream in ages I could remember after the fact, and the ones I could are forgotten in like that split second right after I wake. |

The last major dream I had, it was about Adrienne cooking in the kitchen. She does not like to cook, so this was a surprise. She was making salads. She had a bunch of white plates, and she was laying big romaine leaves on them. Then she took out a bunch of floofy kittens and laid each one on a plate. Sprinkled gorgonzola crumbles on them. Put more lettuce on top. Sprinkles ranch dressing on top. They were mewing in helpless confusion. I said, "Please don't eat the kittens. " "I'm not going to eat them! I just think it's funny! Take their picture!" |

Oh man, I've tried to train myself to have lucid dreams. It worked a few times but lately I just haven't been noticing those in-dream triggers that should make me turn lucid. Like, y'know, deceased relatives hanging around like they ain't dead. XD I think the last time I became successfully lucid was a dream where I was flossing and my teeth turned into clam shells and then fell out. O_o |
