CIIIIIIIV
I get bored of Civ quickly actually. I don't like the modern era.

In my current playthrough I goofed and attacked Japan way too early. They agreed to a truce but now literally every other country broke off ties and are like 'we no trust you anymore'.
I should get back to it sometime and see how long I can last with my very limited military.

I really like starting games, but I get Civ fatigue after 100-ish turns and eventually just stop. I think I only have one game that made it into the super-sci-fi era with laser paratroopers. It didn't help that Civ 5 was structured in such a way that it made expansion (even just peaceful settlement in a non-inhabited area) annoying to manage. Why are my citizens unhappy if I build a new city next to a paradise vista? Shouldn't you guys be fuckin' stoked? New shiny things! That mechanic makes the game feel a little draining. There's probably a mod to adjust it back to Old Civ levels, but I haven't looked.
I get Total War fatigue, too, but that's more from: I've conquered everything but five major regions and so micromanaging my global nation takes for-fuckin-EVER now.

I still have yet to try that Crusader Kings II ASOIAF mod, it looks really appealing.

The ASOIAF mod is amazing. Certain things can be a little weird because of programming, but about 70% of my total hours in CK2 have come from playing A Game of Thrones. Your options are unlimited. Play as Aegon the Conquerer and entirely ignore Westeros, instead rebuilding the old Valyrian Freehold. As Rhaegar, I teamed up with Tywin and usurped the throne from Aerys -- kickstarting a new golden age. Play as Stannis and actually win! Launch a Night's Watch campaign against the wildlings.
Much fun is to be had.

Mine only says 300 hours but I really don't think that's accurate.
