I've had a few complaints now about New LA being slow to respond. Is everyone experiencing this? If so, what are the symptoms?
I experience almost no lag or malfunctions from the forum software. On the other hand, Chrome freezes all the time ever since the last several updates. It hiccups very frequently on Youtube and with full-screen videos, but even on text pages every now and again. If LA ever hiccups for me, it's only ever due to Chrome. It locks up at the same time all my other tabs do. Which would mean that LA is not malfunctioning; only the web browser.

Which skin are you using?
Do you have ads turned on? Or ads turned off?

I got a loading crash page a few times earlier, I'm on a chromebook, so both YT and Chrome. Then again, my internet is so terrible things like this happen all the time.
EDIT: Oh, skin. I'm using Moon currently.

I haven't really noticed a problem. Earlier today there was an instance where the site wouldn't load, but I got the impression that was a "ProBoards is down" in general kind of thing.

Yeah, ProBoards has been down off and on ever since Election Day. I'd wager it was from massively increased traffic across almost all their forums. It seems to be tapering off now.

Been using Moon with ads, I have had zero problems from the forums.

I've had no problems. I use the Deviant Replica theme. The browser I use is Pale Moon (a Windows-optimized browser derived from Firefox)

I have had no issuew, but I generally surf this forum on my mobile phone. And I'm using the default skin.

I've tried with ads turned on and with ads blocked. Currently using the latest Firefox. Truth be told, it seems alright now but it crashed whilst I was trying to post something in the Contro thread but presumably that had something to do with the servers more than anything else. Perhaps I'm too used to the old boards, but I have also noticed that scrolling through threads is very laggy and that sometimes the words I'm typing just don't appear quickly. |

Wolf - Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Forum Theme (4th option down)
As for the topic, I haven't noticed any issues, and I'm using Deviant.

If you're having issues scrolling, 9 times out of 10 that's a browser problem. Same with typing delays. That will happen to me on rare occasions, on all websites (including Old LA), but it's always the browser at fault.

I was running Cloud6 and have an adblocker running. Experienced slow speeds, especially during typing. Switched the slimline as you recommended and it's been smoother since.
EDIT: OK, so apparently I don't have my adblocker on this page

I've been using Chrome with its built-in adblocker (which I can't seem to add an exception to for this site because the dumb "Pop-up blocked" thing doesn't show up, sorry ProBoards) and I haven't encountered any problems on any skin.
