Let's reboot this one for the new forum.
Currently drinking: Troeg's Mad Elf. The bottle boasts of being an ale brewed with honey and cherry.
I didn't really taste the cherry, but the honey provided a nice balance to the hops. Also, it's 11% APV, so it's just about three beers in one. No wonder the elf seems mad.

Rivers Royale Rum. Shined up at a colonial waterwheel refinery from the countryside in Grenada, Caribbean. Its 75%+ and illegal to carry aboard an aircraft.

New Amsterdam gin. Cheap, clean, tastes worlds better than any other gin anywhere near its price point. I make my gin and tonic with a little triple sec to accent the citrus notes.
On deck is a bottle of Maker's Mark that wisp gave me for my birthday.

Mmmm Ommegang Three Philosophers. At least 2016 hasn't destroyed everything.

I've been drinking Seattle Cider Company's semi-sweet cider. Deceptively light and sweet, but still has a decent alcohol content. I don't really like the yeast taste in the dry ciders. Adrienne likes Strongbow. Neither of us are beer drinkers.
I hear Alpenfire is local and has really nice ciders, but haven't found any in nearby stores yet.
Grandma's Preferred Beer List from her final years of drinking:
* Pike Kilt Lifter * Deschutes Pinedrops IPA * Shock Top Honeycrisp Apple Wheat * Dogfish 120 Minute IPA -- 20% ABV!

Anybody else get the hankering to make their own stuff?
Ciders? Wines?

I've thought about making my own mead before. Just haven't resolved to actually try it, 'cause I'll probably screw it up somehow. You know. Whoops, but in too much yeast --- *BOTTLES EXPLODING*

On deck is a bottle of Maker's Mark that wisp gave me for my birthday. Surprisingly, I've discovered that I actually like this gin! I've never ever had another kind that I didn't think was completely disgusting.
