Anyone? Anyone?
I just recently got enough money to buy the Evil Dead trilogy on Blu-ray, along with the Ash vs. The Evil Dead series one Blu-ray. I think I am going to pop in my favorite of those films, Army of Darkness.
Then I may continue with the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre and then Psycho.
Then I am going to finish off with Night of the Living Dead. Not the 90 remake, even though I feel it stands up to the original.

The Descent and The Haunting in Connecticut are really good horror movies too, if you haven't seen them already.

I love The Descent.
My favorite recent horror film is The VVitch. Such a good, creeping film.
And also, I've never seen Haunting in Connecticut. But I am hesitant to watch any of the thousand films that begin with The Haunting of.
Conjuring broke that chain by using another -ing word and I'm going to stop talking because I am half asleep and this is becoming a ramble.

personally, I find stranger things to be a really good choice for Halloween. Though considering the time the show takes place, it might be better for November into Christmas time.

There is no bad time to watch a horror movie.
I mean, Black Christmas was set during the Christmas season and it is one of the scariest proto-slasher films ever.
Anyway, I didn't get to have a very good Halloween. I had to work all night, but I at least got to watch a few horror films on guard duty.

We were watching Stranger Things on Halloween night. Hadn't watched it before. It was a good choice. Very spoopy.
