Revitalize LA Help Request: Music

If all else fails, find a piece of music that you like and slightly alter it a bit. I've seen that a lot in other Youtube videos. What were you guys planning to cover on the channel? I would like to help if its possible.

Well, in a perfect world, we'd be using an original song. I don't know if that makes the problem easier or harder.

Well, Pogo and I do music, but I don't think either of us has experience writing theme songs or jingles. We could possibly try? If nothing else, we could probably take a song from a game and write parody lyrics to it.

Ok, so more details.

We have two kinds of shows that we plan on exporting to Youtube:

1. Gamehiker Let's Plays. These would cover any combination of me and Masamune, exporting Twitch streams to Youtube with a little editing.

2. Gamehater. This is the "review show" mode, where we focus on giving our first impressions of games that we have never played before.

So at minimum, we need a Gamehiker intro and outro. I'd also like to give Gamehater its own intro to help with flavor. I have a concept, but that concept uses music I don't have the rights to distribute and would need to be replaced. If you want to hear, let's take this private.

The other two, I don't really have anything in mind, but I can't speak to Masamune.

I feel the only appropriate theme for Gamehater is Cranky Kong's theme, as it's a show about grumpy old men complaining about new video games. 

So, I'm just going to throw this out there, but there's a lot of license-free music out there, and some of it's pretty good. A customized musical track is ideal, but it's not really necessary at this stage. In fact, I think there's some grounds for running the show for a while to grow into it, then putting effort into the intro and outro themes.

I've got a ton of unused bits and pieces of music floating around. If you're looking for an instrumental intro/outro, PM me your inspiration tracks and I bet we can figure something out.
