Hey its good seeing you. it has been awhile. I am going to attempt to be more active here now but i cant make any promises. How has everything been going? Besides the big move have I missed anything crazy?

Not really, it's actually been very stagnant the last 2-3 years. There would be an occasional Contro or Milk Bar thread popup or the regular 'last person post here' thread reply, but other than that nothing really happened.


We've got a Discord server for LA that a lot of us idle on and it's something we try to get weekend activities going on, even if it's just talking. This thread has more info if you're interested.

Hey thanks for letting me know. Yeah I can def try to join if you guys are on discord over the weekend. Now I read a little bit about the big move over here. Is old LA going to actually going to close down soon or is this place a just in case the server dies type of thing? I just noticed not everyone has migrated over yet, or maybe we just don't have that many people active yet. Lets make LA great again lol.

I believe Lena set the end of October as a tentative date to archive old LA, so it seems like we're in the transition phase of setting stuff up here (and the move here is permanent). The posts on old LA will still be up in some form for everyone who wants to read the old boards for nostalgia's sake though.

We might have long ago. I've been around since 2003, and went inactive sometime in 2010. I didn't realize I had an rather active 7 years on here.

Thats ok I believe I joined in 2001 and i have had my share of absences especially as of late. Its good to meet / see you again. Its pretty weird when you think about it that LA has been around for the best parts of the internet. I really cant think of another community that has stuck around this long. Im sure they are out there Im just not apart of them. Hey but LA has out lived myspace and ytmnd, i think this place should be about 16 years old now. Hopefully we can last forever.

Yeah, it's kind of crazy that LA is still around. I can hardly believe I've been here for 12 years! I've known some of you weirdos longer than I've known my husband! XD

I'm not 100% thrilled about moving and having to start over (and learn how to navigate a very different ACP), but I completely think it's the most practical thing to do given all the hassles involved with staying on Invision.

A fresh slate, ripe for LA perversion. :B
