I'll be honest, I wasn't totally on board with uprooting and moving to an entirely new board but it does fit the goal of re-birthing/redesigning LA. It'll be good to have all the soon-to-be old forums archived and able to browse anytime, but I think it would have intimidated any new users we recruit if they join and feel behind on a lot of threads, forums, etc.
That's just my take though, it's one of the reasons I didn't really finding ZU too appealing when I made an account on it - there was just way too much clutter and it felt like everyone already had their clique. At least with new LA the fresh start will seem more welcoming to new members (again, just my take).

I know I'll spend eight to ten hours a day procrastinating on posting at LA by working at my job instead. I feel pretty guilty about it sometimes.
