Currently in the US about 85% of all crops grown are GE/GMO.
GMOs by design, to utilize more pesticide and weedicide.
Glyphosate, colon polyps and hepatorenal toxicity, oh my!
Of that GE/GMO crop, Monsanto currently has a 80% market share on US corn and 92% market share on soya (and supplies roughly 10% of the world's formulated pesticide demand)
Is it a concern that German pharmaceutical giant Bayer just acquired Monsanto?
But whhhhyyyyyy?
Homework time people.
Big Pharma just married Big Agro.
Again.

Now normally I would say this would belong in contro but honestly I think this place is dead enough as it is without the nitpicking. But on a more related note, when did Monsanto get bought out?
