Currently watching The Man in the High Castle as I have a month's free trial with Amazon Prime. It can be a very devastating show. Like Crimson, I've also read the book. Currently finished S1E7. That awkard dinner scene matched the one in the book perfectly and I found it hilarious listening to Childan intersperse his English with badly pronounced Japanese.

I just recently finished Season 2, by and far my favourite show on television right now. It does a great job of humanizing the villains and making you like them, doesn't it?

I can't say I like many of them. The book version of Tagomi and Wegener have always been likeable to me, so I instantly took to them in the TV version. Not so Obergruppenführer Smith, but it's early days. This show is very slow to start. And I don't know what it is about Officer Kido but he reminds me so much of Herr Flick from Allo Allo! There's no resemblance but I think it's the way Kido moves and reacts. It's really weird comparing him to a comedy character.

Just finished the Crown miniseries on Netflix, I'm a sucker for historical dramas like that. Also watching Terrace House, a weird Japanese Big Brother type series on Netflix as well and hoping to restart John Adams again soon.

I watched the Crown as soon at it came out -- was very impressed.
Thinking about starting the original Dragonball soon. Adrienne and I have only ever seen DBZ.

The original Dragonball as compared to DBZ is like the Hobbit compared to the LotR trilogy, much more light hearted and comical. It also provides almost all of the world building that sets up DBZ so I think you'll enjoy it.

Homeland Season 6 is now airing - this show is starting to get a little bland after covering Islamic extremism for the entire series, so I'm hoping by next season they go into a different direction.

Started watching Constantine, finally, years later.
Now I'm really annoyed it got cancelled, it's decent. All I can hope for is he can show up more on Arrow or the other shows.

I got through half the first season. I loved it, but you could tell they were watering it down for TV. A bit of good news though, as they plan to continue the series with Matt Ryan in the title role as an animated series. Should be really fun.

Can't help but wonder why Hitler cared about not antagonising the Japanese so much, but seeing as he's dead, I guess we'll never know. Mind you, the Nazi rally was so full of narm.

I'm currently watching through the Adam West Batman, the first five seasons of King of the Hill and the Battlestar Galactica remake. A while back I finished the first five seasons of South Park.

A bit of good news though, as they plan to continue the series with Matt Ryan in the title role as an animated series. Should be really fun. Oh, for sure, but they get away with and did a lot more then I thought they'd be willing or able to do for network TV. I saw that they were doing the animated Constantine shorts, so that makes me hopeful Matt Ryan can show up in the flesh in the actual shows as well down the line. Though i hear that they had to use loopholes upon loopholes to get him (and his music) on Arrow for one episode. He's apparently also reprising the role in the Justice League Dark animated movie coming out next week, so that's cool. So, I've now been watching Season two of Voltron. I liked the first season quite a bit, but the second season so far has just blown it away, at least in the first handful of episodes. Yeah, I agree with Lena's guess earlier, the thing that happen to Sven is probably going to happen to Shiro too, though I look forward to seeing how it turns out since the writers have proven themselves to be pretty great at figuring out how to make or break twists in the story. I've been doing my episode write-ups on the site proper, but still going through the DCW shows. My opinions on Flash and Arrow can be seen over there (summarized: "Fun, BUT ANOTHER GUY WHO RUNS FAST AS MAIN ANTAGONIST GODDAMMIT" for the former, and "Huh, this is mostly logical and entertaining. Mostly." for the latter), but for the other two shows....Supergirl is still okay, I think, but this first half of the season just feels really...weird. I attribute that mostly to how production moved from LA to Vancouver, and it just shows when you watch. I don't mean it's a total downgrade, but location shoots in Southern California and British Columbia are verrrrry different, and there's no hiding it. I think the writers seem to have their heart in the right place, and the sideplot of Alex coming out was handled about as well as a CW show could possibly do it, but I don't know, the show itself just feels less important then it did last year. Everyone still does just fine, I just wonder what little thing changed to make it feel...weird. Maybe the "CW-ness" that shows on the network have to have is just a weird fit? Legends of Tomorrow is a gigantic mess. Whatever problems I have with Arrow, this show turns it up by a magnitude. I mean, it's not a bad idea, and I thought last season was fine, but it just feels like a jumbled mess with too many characters who either don't have the time to establish themselves very well, or in the case of Ray, Sara, Dr. Stein and Jax, characters who viewers have seen done much, much better reduced to really thin cardboard cut out versions of themselves. If nothing else, I'm annoyed by this show's existence keeping those characters from showing up on Arrow and Flash, and when they do show up, they still feel not quite right. The show also doesn't really deliver on the whole time travelling hi-jinx aspect, and while I understand it's a TV show budget, what else can you do, half the time the time period they're supposedly in just feels like right now, except that dude over there has bell bottoms. Agents of SHIELD with Ghost Rider was actually really well done and entertaining, and while it's not quite as compelling, the LMD arc that's going on now isn't bad either. Also enjoyed how the Judas Bullet from Luke Cage showed up in an episode, and did so with no fanfare - it was just a thing that exists, and if you knew, you knew. On the Gundam front, I've now been through 0080 and am halfway through 0083. War in the Pocket is still a damn good OVA, and dammit, even as a 32 year old man, Bernie's last speech to Al on the recording device still got me. Not even thinking about how it's Solid Snake himself David Hayter saying all of that took the punch out from that performance. Also, it's REALLY screwed up how Bernie's last meal was, in fact, a burger. Stardust Memory is nicely animated, but I'm finding it's sorta not that great. Anavel Gato is still the man (except, you know, Space Nazi) , I still like the GP-02 as a Gundam design, and it's not completely without good points, but it all doesn't really come together. Characters are a little too shrill and hold the idiot ball way too often for my liking, and the fact that 0080 did way better in establishing and fleshing out its characters in less then half the time says a lot. I'm looking forward to finishing this and starting on Zeta - while this'll be my third time through, the first time was through fansubs of dubious origin as a Middle Schooler, and the second was when the first set of DVD's came out when I was in University, so we shall see if both versions of my past self are right about this show being actually good. Oh, I also saw the fourth episode of Gundam the Origin. I hate to say it, but while the Char stuff on Earth meeting up with Lahlah for the first time was fine, all the backstory on the Gundam getting greenlit for development could and should have been paced better. It's interesting stuff, in the grand scheme of this setting up the original series, but it all sorta fell flat. I know they've got at least another couple parts about the actual beginning of the One Year War coming up, but this just ends on a total non-climax. THat'ss pretty much it, other then random movies I missed/didn't want to bother seeing in theaters or the random odd anime on Funimation.

Got into A series of Unfortunate Events, watching them kinda spaced out two at a time. I like it, it's a little silly but I'm enjoying it so far. I remember watching the movie with Jim Carrey a while back so I know some things that are going to happen but this series spreads it out much much better.

I've recently tried a few things, like How to Get Away With Murder and House of Cards. Decided they weren't my thing.
So then I started rewatching Avatar. Maybe I'll finish the first season of Clone Wars too.
