Arya's wearing Stark armor this season, and Maisie was seen filming in Northern sets with the other actors, so it looks like we'll finally be getting a Stark reunion! Also rumored: Reunion with Nymeria.
I am surprised by how completely awesome Dany's throne looks. Fuck King's Landing, rule from Dragonstone. Her new costume this season is also really cool. Though I do hope she gets some actual dragon-riding armor for battle scenes.
Quick scene of Yara making out with what appeared to be one of the Dornish girls, which regrettably means we're stuck with those characters for a while longer.
Speaking of Greyjoys, daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that giant ship. Unfortunately, still very vulnerable to ranged dragon fire. No indication they're doing the dragon horn plot from the books for Euron, so I dunno how he's gonna avoid fire raining from above unless he's loaded that thing with giant ballistas or something.

Decent starter episode, even though outside of the Arya shenanigans nothing much happened. Jaime's anti-Cersei arc better start sometime this season, probably when Cersei and Euron start banging.

Second episode was very good for the most part. Euron being introduced so late will inevitably make him a forgettable 11th hour sub-boss before the final fight, so I anticipate that he'll do at least one "Big Thing" before his death. Maybe he mounts those scorpions on his ship and shoots a dragon.
The Dragonstone throne looks cool as shit. She should just make it her new capital.
Wondering if they're going to make Jon/Sansa a thing. In the original drafts of the series, Jon and prototype-Arya (who was older) were going to hook up once they found out they weren't siblings. Jon and Sansa have a very Ned-and-Cat vibe that may be deliberate in more ways than one. I'd rather Jon bang his cousin than his aunt.
People have been theorizing if Jorah will return to Valyria to bring back secrets of Valyrian Steel. Perhaps as payment to Sam for mitigating the disease. That would definitely redeem his honor, neatly bringing Jorah's story of exile and shame to a happy close. His honor isn't tied to Daenerys, and perhaps this is how he'll learn that.
Arya will probably miss Jon and have a reunion with Sansa. Probably saving the Jon reunion for later.
Someone pointed out that in the opening credits, the sea beside the Wall is now frozen over -- perhaps signaling that the White Walkers will just go around it. If so, boooo. I want the Wall to dramatically crumble!

I'd like to think the frozen sea is just supposed to say that, "Hey, that Winter thing we kept saying is coming? It's here now." If it does imply the White Walkers can just walk around, than that's lame. Though it is part of their name.
I don't know about Euron, if not for how I know he's from the source he almost feels like an extra villain made up for the adaptation because they needed padding. I don't mind a reminder that just because things are coming to a close and stuff is looking up for the good guys, it doesn't mean things will be a cakewalk, he just seems like he's an original character made by a fanfic writer who's trying too hard to make a super badass evil character.

Dany is going to have her shit pushed in all season, lots of things she's gathered along the way will be lost. Possibly even one of the dragons. It will make her feel that she does, in fact, need Jon Snow's help after all and the last season is a coalition force of Ice and Fire versus Cersei and the White Walkers. That's how I see this turning out, let's see if I'm right.

I'm actually surprised that Jamie, Bronn, and the dragon all were alive by the end of the episode. Maybe not the first one, but I figured one of them was going to go.

I think he'll be gone next episode. Tyrion will bargain for Jaime's life but Daenerys kills Bronn out of spite for Drogon. EDIT: holy buckets of stuntmen
