I would read DJ's toy reviews--I doubt I'm in the market because I don't have space for things, but knowing what makes a good toy is really useful for Christmas shopping.
I'd also read Lena's Women in Gaming stuff. I have a long history of playing games with female leads.
Personally, I'm slowly collecting the pieces to put a recording studio together. It's not that it's a lot of work, but I have to do a lot of waiting for other people. I would like to make a regular content stream which won't require too much effort, like a podcast. Topic not set, however. I should also have my tabletop RPG sessions starting at more or less the same time or soon after--it's kinda irregular, and I want to build up a month or so of recordings before I launch.

I'd be willing to write columns on decoding wtf you're getting when you get American health insurance. I can't tell you all the little minutia but I can explain some of the stuff like deductibles, out of pocket max, when do I go to paying 80/20, how do I keep from getting screwed by my insurance, which insurance is better, etc.
I'm also starting to get back into 3D modeling with DAZ and may be trying out Zbrush. If you'd like a column on epic 3d fails or troubleshooting. Or this is how you model boobs so they don't look like shit. May be able to explain editing texture maps. Also reviewing DAZ products and if they're worth buying since I've been honing in on their sales and getting a lot of crap cheap. Some of it I wish I knew was useless before I got it.
Edit: Oh. Right. I do costumes and wig styling too. That whole cosplay hobby.

I feel like I could do something with warhammer 40k, I'll figure something out.

Yeah, I would also love it if Chik and/or Fish had the time and inclination to write some about things like 401k's. I mean, I have one but I only use it on the most basic of levels because trying to figure out anything more complicated makes my eyes glaze over. I can't stand boring financial type things. Considering Fish knows nada about 401ks except what I or others at work have taught him, I'm happy to step into that role. Within what I'm legally allowed. But funny enough, while I'm the family retirements expert, he's the one who handles most of the day-to-day finances. I think all of us could bring something to the table if we try. I'd also be happy to talk about saving, home ownership, cooking.
